Hi,
Just read the mail by Saifi on 'newbie/n00b is an asset', so am daring to
ask this question (although it may be a very simple thing for most of you). In
Linux, there are 3 sets of users: myself, my group and others. Others, i think,
stands for all the users of the system. Dont knw abt my group!!! Many a times i
get messages saying 'Permsission Denied' and then i have to change the
permissions to read-write-execute using chmod. For someone like me, where there
is only one user for linux, i hope its safe to give RWX permissions to all
users to all the files when needed.

Regards,
Kartik Nayak
