Hi Nancy, I just went through this. Lingos are weights used on Jacquard looms where each warp thread is also weighted individually. I emailed Glimakra (loom manufacturer) to get mine. Each one is about 1.5 oz. And cost about $.50 each. So I used two for each card. I liked them alright, but they are long, so you need plenty of clearance between floor and loom, and they weren't quite as tangle free as I would have hoped, but they were very easy to attach as each one is a long U.
I've also used 5oz fishing weights which I got at Bass Pro Shop. Don't know if you have one near you. I like those as well. Sounds like the bolts are going to work out for you though.
