This summer my website "The Loomy Bin" is going to be 10 years old! The
software turned out to be amazingly machine independent. It survived
many changes in operation systems. It even started to work on the Mac
and I did not have to do a thing to make it happen.

In the beginning it was necessary to make special arrangement for
Windows. That's why there are two versions of the downloadable
application. That is no longer necessary. The Unix version works also
for PCs. Can you believe something is getting simpler?

While the software needs no update (ok, more features would be good),
the website itself is rather old fashioned and ready for an overhaul.
One day, maybe after CNCH 2010 (April, see cnch.org) I'll find the time
to modernize.

For now, just read the news page (www.theloomybin.com/doc/news.html) to
see what has changed.

Happy weaving!
Gudrun
