It would be very helpful if you would help us diagnose this issue by re-upgrading to 15.1 and seeing if you can reproduce it. How did you install Twisted? How did you downgrade? Sticking with older versions of Twisted means you won't get new features or security updates. Having to downgrade like this indicates you won't be able to upgrade in the future, which will potentially mean you will miss out on lots of useful stuff. Worse, if there's some bug in Twisted which caused this behavior, lots of _other_ people will miss out on the new stuff as well.
