I would start a standalone server that serves static and dynamic content. The most exciting thing is that I need to handle multipart file uploads. Is this possible with web or is web2 needed for this.
Currently I can choose between web and web2. Will web2 released in near future? Is there a release plan? The latest release of web was in 2005-03-22. Can anybody tell me why there are no newer releases? no bugfixes? or is the project not maintained? Sorry for these direct questions, but IMO for an open source project it is not quite tipical to have a release that is more than a year old, with the revision number of 0.x ALex. Depends on what features you need i suppose. web would be your best bet if you don't need any of the new features of web2, as it is still not completely stable.
