Hi glyph! It looks like that is a different issue, not part of Conch's twisted.cred checkers. I filed https://github.com/twisted/twisted/issues/11626 with the traceback you posted, but it would be helpful if you could add steps to reproduce for folks like me who are just tiptoeing into Conch. I think that this may also have been impacted by this PyPy change: https://foss.heptapod.net/pypy/pypy/-/commit/106f751add4e0d9efe614b0bebd75844ccb43bca. If you were using a less buggies compatible version of PyPy before it would have worked.
I think that the changelog entry is technically correct, though it could be misread to say that Conch's CLI works. We could absolutely clarify that.
