Hi, Right now, the Twisted legal rights are represented by Software Freedom Conservancy https://sfconservancy.org/
In the last years they were eight too busy to help us. This means that we were not able to move in any direction in relation to raising any money. I am writing this, to see if you know any options or any other organization that would be willing to host the Twisted project legal / financial part. On GitHub docs [0] I found the following alternatives * Open Source Collective - 10% fee * NumFOCUS - I don't know the fee * Open Collective Europe - 6% fee * Software Underground - I don't know the fee SFC is also on the list. Do you have any info about these projects. Do you have suggestions for what we can do to find a reliable host for our legal/financial representation? ----------- Why am I trying this? In the past, (I think that) we had some successful fellowships programme in which a few developers were paid to do code review or help with work that would benefit the whole project (ex migrating from SVN to git) That work was paid from donations. In the last 2 years I (and others) tried to get in touch with SFC (our current legal host) but we were ignored and nothing was done. This is why, my hope is that once we have a reliable financial host we can continue the sponsorship work. -------- BTW. SFC emails are not answered since Sept 2021, and I did a few follow ups after that, last followup was on March 2022 when I gave up trying to communicate with SFC over email.
