I'm sure this has been discussed before but I haven't been able to find anything in the archives of this group or twister-dev: why does Twister use a separate blockchain instead of using Namecoins?
A related question: Is it possible to post to the Twister torrent cloud using a public key instead of a name registered in the blockchain? If Twister were forked to use the Namecoin blockchain, would there be any possibility of interoperability?
