OK, this is getting silly. If I add this line, to use the JS file from twitter's github WITH mine it works! <script src=" http://twitter.github.com/bootstrap/assets/js/bootstrap-dropdown.js "></script>
If I remove mine line, it doesn't work - I haven't got time to work it out, but for some reason this works so I'm sticking with it.
