This is driving me up a wall. I'm using Bootstrap 2.0 in Google's Chrome version 16.0.912.77 m as well as Sarfai 5.1.2.
I include the Bootstrap css without modifications, then include my own CSS *after*. I have tried to change (override) the dark gray background color of the navbar, but can not seem to, and I can't figure this out. What's killing me is that the Element Explorer in Chrome is saying the background color of navbar-inner was overwritten by my CSS rule (light blue) and that each of the elements inside have a background color of transparent, yet it shows up as the original dark gray on the screen. This happens in Safari too. I commented out all JS thinking that maybe a script was running on the load that was updating the style directly, but that changed nothing. No matter how many specific rules I wrote to change the background color to blue it stayed dark gray. What the hell?
