Yes I got seriously caught out with this - the phatness post is really helpful - but it's a pity there aren't warnings / directions around this in the BS sample content. For styleable enclosing rows, I tend to class them ".enclosure" as ".wrapper" might be confused with similarly historically similarly classed divs but which are actually equivalent to the outer .container element in BS
You're almost worse off if you are experienced with other frameworks, such as 960.gs, where you can style rows with total abandon.
