I'm bumping this thread because I'm interested in hearing whether anyone
has come to any kind of conclusion regarding this issue. As Sherbrow
suggests; it looks like the changes necessary to support this feature would
be a bit of a nightmare to introduce and maintain unless they were adopted
within the philosophy of the framework.
