Hello,

You have too many closing divs within id="footer". meaning you close out
you id="contact" div, and then close it out "again" with the note that you
are closing out the contact div..

<!-- start: Footer -->
<footer id="footer">
    <div class="container">
        <div class="row">
            <div class="span4">

            </div>    <!--end first span4-->
            <div class="span4">
                <div id="contact">

                </div>
            </div> <!-- </contact>-->
        </div> <!--End 2nd span4-->
        <div class="span4"> <!--begin 3rd column-->
            <div class="media">

            </div>
        </div>

Not sure if that will go through properly. But you will see that you are
adding an extra /div. The "extra /div closes out the row div, and then the
last span starts again.

Anytime I have issues with something not closing out right is usually
because of bad HTML. An easy check is to format your HTML with proper tabs
to see where things begin and end. I use the following site for that:

http://www.freeformatter.com/html-formatter.html

Again, just clean up the HTML ensuring the proper amount of divs /divs are
there and you will be fine. Hope this helps.
