Please remember that the solution you are looking here is good for quick /
dynamic things. But it is bad for SEO. This is because even though you have
a "link2.html" on your server, there are no real links telling search
engines the page is there. Also, it will be bad if the surfer does not have
JavaScript turned on.

Anyway.. hope this brings you to a production level solution. Have a great
