It's a great question.   Also, Bootstrap does not specify, as far as I
know, which specific version of jQuery to use.

This comes into play, because jQuery 2.x has dropped support for some very
common legacy browsers, so depending on the flavour of jQuery, you may have
to take this into account - for now I'm using jQuery 1.x so it's a
non-issue.

I would be great to have to have this info in the Bootstrap docs - so if
anybody knows where to find that, it would much appreciated also!
