On my Twitter Bootstrap site, after the user does a search, the search
input field
is not editable. On click, nothing happens, but when the user begins to
type,
the previous search text disappears and the new typed in text appears. I'd
like
the search field to be editable. I've tried all sorts of combinations of
JS and
just simply removeAttr("readonly") but I can't fix it. Any ideas on how to
make
the search input field editable? Example:
