Take a look back at the documentation on this one. The new bootstrap v3 has 
a couple new column classes. Also, v3 is designed to be mobile first which 
is a different approach from v2 (thus a bunch of changes like this one). 

I ran into a similar situation on a build i was working on and my solution 
was to nest my own div inside a <div="col-lg-4"> and add padding to it.
