Hi,

on a related note: What's the typical typical period of time for the
search system to acknowledge avatar changes? About two days ago, I
changed the avatar for @gooseapps from the web (using Camino on Mac OS
X 10.5, if that makes any difference), and both twitter.com and the
API started returning the new profile image URL right away.

The search system (via JSON) still returns the old profile image URL,
however, leaving me with no avatar at all, because that old URL now
points to nowhere. I wonder if this is a general feature of the search
system, because the avatar file in question certainly isn't special
(PNG, no alpha channel, ASCII-only file name).

I could, of course, get the correct avatar with an API call in these
cases, but that would mean nibbling off of the 100 connections per
hour limit, so I'd obviously rather not do that.

Thanks! Cheers,

Peter.
