[twitter-dev] newsrooms written in php

I have been given the responsibility at work to intigrate twitter into
a few dozen existing client's newsrooms, all written in PHP. What they
want for each client's newsroom is the functionality to allow them to
use twitter from their own newsroom. I am new to twitter and I am also
new to PHP. I could really use some advise and direction on how I can
incorporate twitter into these newsrooms. Here is a link to an example
