I tweeted "foo", then "bar", then many other things (several
unprintable), but kept getting back the reply I got for "foo".

Developers, how about a more helpful error message like "out of
tweets" or something?

My client splits long messages into multiple tweets, so I'm guessing I
tend to burn my limit faster (only happened once so far though).

I'm also writing a bot, and an error or rate limit status would be
useful there too. Of course, it's a spambot, so I see your point ;)
