If you need more predicates, you must apply for a higher level of access, not open more connections. The default limits are set to allow experimentation while preventing scraping. Excessive connections are considered attempts to work around the rate limits and your IP address will be banned. This is documented and emphasized in the Pre-Launch Checklist:
