Hallo Im currently building an app and am trying to work out a way to match old school retweets to the original tweet they reference. I will have the original cached in a database so this should make it easier. My first thought is to use something like Solr to search for similar text, however the setup and cost overhead could be prohibitive, the app is built on rails and running on Heroku.
I was just wondering if anyone else had tried to achieve this or if anyone else have any other suggestions? Thanks
