I am trying to access the trends API via the following request: http://api.twitter.com/1/trends.xml , however I keep getting a "Status: 406 Not Acceptable" response returned with no data.
This error seems to also happen even when using twitter's console to run the request: http://dev.twitter.com/console?content_type=xml&path=trends . It appears to only be working for JSON there...
