Hi All,

I'd like to ask that the June 14th deadline for the OAuth DM change be
extended, preferably to sometime in July. I think as of now there's several
issues that cause the June 14th deadline to be too aggressive.

1. force_login argument is not yet available. I know this is supposed to be
"released soon" but its still not available and as such the only way to
implement this change is via a UIWebView (or similar) which somewhat defeats
the purpose of this change.
2. There's no way to specify a screenName as part of the flow. This is crucial
for smoothing out the existing user upgrade process. I believe this is also
being worked on but like the above still isn't live.
3. Still no sample code from Twitter for implementing this OAuth flow. I know
this isn't technically needed but I think it'd be widely appreciated and will
prevent folks from going down the wrong path.
4. WWDC is coming up the week of the 6th and personally the last thing I want
to be doing that week is working on this change (I've got to imagine I'm not
the only one in this boat). It's also possible that we'll end up getting
delayed approvals during that week, depending on what Apple does that week.

IMO the cutover shouldn't happen for at least 3 weeks until after 1 and 2 above
are done. We should have at least 1 week to implement/test the changes, 1 week
for App Store approval and 1 week to resubmit in case the update gets rejected
for whatever reason.
