I can't help you directly. You have to further investigate, probably adding
some Windows.OutputDebugString('Your message') in the code, your code as
well as POP3 component and even TWSocket. This would help you find where
Abort hang (altough it should never hang !).

Note that is you can reproduce the problem, using Delphi debugger, it should
be easy to understand where it hang.
