to help you w/ IPHelper, here's the function you need :

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/iphlp/iphlp/getbestroute.asp

you have :
dwForwardNextHop
Specifies the IP address of the next hop in the route.
dwForwardIfIndex
Specifies the index of the interface for this route.

that should be enough to get what you want, specially if you have several 
interfaces.

(but that's a bit OT ;)
