That is why the FMX version of ICS has lots of extra units, like Ics.Posix.Messages.pas that 'Emulates Windows messages on MacOS' and I assume these will also work on Linux. But these are tied into FMX, and I'm not sure if that is actually supported for Linux, it appears Delphi does not support a Linux GUI yet, only service/console applications.
