Happy Hour:

Date:  June 20, 2002

Time:  7:00 PM

Location:  Stir Crazy Mongolian Grill, 1270 Buck Jones Rd, CaryNC 27606-3327

Phone: (919) 481-2222

The Scene
Loud and lively, Stir Crazy attempts to tap into every diner's secret desire to experiment, dabble and ultimately play with food. The bad news: There's a learning curve. Newbies may be tempted to grab a bowl and fill it with an array of raw meats, vegetables, sauces and spices, only to end up with an atrocious concoction. Your best bet is to follow the recipes on the wall or pick up a recipe card by the buffet and follow it closely.

The Food
The variety of options is amazing. Choose from a selection of raw meats, including chicken, shrimp, beef and pork; follow with fresh vegetables. The restaurant's sauce and spice buffet is equally impressive. Bring your bowl to the huge grill, and a staff member will stir-fry it to perfection (complete with a shouting, banging show). Servers will bring bowls of rice and tortillas to your table for extra variety.
