CLARIFICATION regarding the Board/Planning Meeting: For those of you who know Josh L. and thought that the meeting was to be held in Greensboro, let me assure you this is not the case. Josh has moved to Northeast Raleigh (just off of Capital Blvd.); the meeting will be held in Josh's new townhouse.
For those who have not had an opportunity due to the Thanksgiving Holiday to RSVP for the December 5th Dinner & Services Event, the deadline has been extended to December 1. If you would have liked to attend this event, but have found that you could not due to the scheduling of this event, please contact [EMAIL PROTECTED]; we are interested in determining if this is an event we would like to retry next quarter. Other options are to attend an "early" service (usually a "family service" in which many children attend) and have a nice dinner afterwards. Please let us know what you think.
Also, as the TYJP Planning meeting is just around the corner, if you have any ideas for the next quarter (January - March, 2004), or wish to lead/host an event, please contact Michael Cohen ([EMAIL PROTECTED]), or just attend the planning meeting; more information about the meeting will be forthcoming. If there are events you did not like this past year, or would like to see a different event next year, this is the time to speak up; if you do not, those who do attend the meeting will only plan those events they want to lead/host.
In this installment of the TYJP Newsletter, please find details for the following events:
Wednesday, December 3, 2003: Board/Planning Meeting
Friday, December 5: TYJP Dinner and Services (Dinner at Solomon's/Services at Beth Meyer) (RSVPs Required)
Also, mark your calendars for these events; more information will follow in subsequent Emails.
December 18, 2003: Hanukah Happy Hour
December 25, 2003: Game Day/Night
When: Wednesday, December 3, 2003
Time: 6:30 PM Board Meeting / 7:00 PM Planning Meeting
Where: Josh L.'s House (RSVP for Directions)
It's that time of the year again. It is time to plan TYJP events for the next quarter. If you have any ideas or suggestions for activities or events for the time frame of January 1 through March 31, 2004, please feel free to come to the planning meeting. We would love to see some new volunteers and ideas. If you cannot attend the meeting, but have any ideas, suggestions, or wish to volunteer for an event, please contact Michael Cohen at [EMAIL PROTECTED].
We will meet at Josh's house for this meeting, to help facilitate easy communication between all those who attend; we have had trouble in the past with people hearing other people in noisy restaurants. The Board will meet at 6:30 PM; the Planning Meeting will start at 7:00 PM. We will order pizzas for those who attend (everyone eating will be asked to pitch in, as TYJP's coffers are empty); if you have any preferences for the type of pizza you want, please indicate it in your RSVP. To RSVP and receive directions to his house, please contact Josh at [EMAIL PROTECTED].
