TFIT2008 CALL FOR PAPERS
The Fourth Taiwanese-French Conference
on Information Technology (TFIT 2008)

The Taiwanese-French Conference on Information Technology (TFIT) series
originated in 2000 as an annual workshop on Multimedia that aimed at
fostering close collaborations between Taiwanese and French research
communities of the field by providing a regular forum for interaction
between the two sides. While the goal remained the same, areas of
interest have expanded over the years and the workshop also underwent
several name changes. In 2004, the annual workshop grew into a
conference and assumed its present name. The technical program of TFIT
2008 will consist of invited papers as well as papers selected from
submissions.

Information Technology is a very broad field. To ensure better
interaction, four areas have been identified as the focus areas of TFIT
2008: On the other hand, we encourage the papers presented in the
conference should be understood in a very broad sense.
- Multimedia
- Real-Time/Embedded Systems
- Security
- Formal Verification
[SUBMISSION GUIDELINES]
Papers reporting research findings in the four focus areas (Multimedia,
Real-Time/Embedded Systems, Security, Formal Verification) are
solicited. A submitted paper must contain original contributions,
clearly written in English, and include comparison with related work.
Submissions should include abstract, 5-10 keywords, the e-mail address
of thecorresponding author, and must not exceed 12 pages, including
tables andfigures, with PDF format. Each paper should be submitted

Acceptance notification: January 20, 2008
Camera-ready due: February 3, 2008

[PUBLICATIONS]
The conference proceedings will be published by the National Taiwan
University as a technical report, which is considered informal and does
NOT preclude accepted papers to be submitted for publication elsewhere.
