The IT University of Copenhagen invites applicants for a permanent
associate/assistant professorship in Software Development starting
January 1, 2009.

We are looking for candidates that are enthusiastic about:

 * conducting research at the highest international level
 * developing and conducting excellent graduate and under-graduate
   teaching
 * actively taking part in developing the IT University and its
   relations with external partners

The successful applicant must be able to teach within at least one of
the following areas of software development: platforms and tools,
development processes, methods, management and organizations, testing
and static analysis, distributed systems, database systems or
operating systems.

The research interests of the applicant should preferably be within
one of the following areas: requirements specifi cation, user
interface design, ubiquitous computing, IT for healthcare, decision
support systems, empirical studies of software development,
object-oriented methodology and languages, software architectures,
programming language technology, model-driven development or end-user
development.

Applicants at the associate professor level will be expected to draw
in external funding for research and be capable of, and prepared to
supervise PhD students.

The IT University is located near the center of Copenhagen, Denmark.
