Hi list, I've made a small "recent posts" plugin for typo, avaliable at http:// fredericdevillamil.com/articles/2006/12/30/typo-recent-posts-sidebar- plugin.
You can configure the number of posts displayed as well as the number length of the excerpt. The plugin is released under the GPL licence, so feel free to add it to the trunk if you want.
