Hi Martin,

since these tables can get very large after some time, I did the same (just saved the structure, not the data). It can lead to problems if you truncate those tables for a running installation without clearing the TYPO3 cache. So just don't forget to clear the TYPO3 cache after importing the backup and you will be fine.

Wish you a sunny afternoon ;).

Hello friends,

Q: Do I need a full backup for these tables?

I mean these EXT:realurl tables with 'cache' in their names:

- tx_realurl_chashcache
- tx_realurl_pathcache
- tx_realurl_urldecodecache
- tx_realurl_urlencodecache

In a site backup I would include the tables of course. But do I
have to backup the data as well?

The goal is to have a backup that works right away when restored
and I don't want to loose information that the system cannot
regenerate.

Thank you ...

Martin
