chrono-tz is deprecated[1]. Prefer to use jiff[2] which the community seems to have standardized around.
chrono-tz embeds tzdata into its releases and its last release was a year ago. jiff uses timezone data from the OS for Unix-like systems and only embeds tzdata into its releases for Windows, meaning it stays up-to-date easier thanks to OS updating efforts.
