Technically America/Yellowknife changed to CST August 21st (with America/Inuvik). Anyone using the "backward" link will receive the America/Edmonton date of June 18th.
It doesn't make a difference to historical "clock on the wall" time (since MDT is the same offset as CST) but it is a (very minor) difference between the two zones after 1970.
Too minor to suggest America/Yellowknife be restored to the main file.
