Just trying to correlate old patches on U-boot mailing list to draw a picture of the current state of FIT (Flattened Image Tree format).. still have the following questions:
Can anyone familiar with this topic comment on the following? (1) Other than Chromium OS, who are the most notable examples/users of FIT? (2) There is no kernel build support for FIT (all patches that were sent for building FIT from kernel sources were NAK'ed). How does chromium-OS or other platforms build FIT images today? (3) Are there any open examples on the web or in the sources for any existing open source projects that show a working example of FIT? The only example I could find were few .its files in the U-boot doc/uImage.FIT directory. Thanks!
