Hello, I have observed, that if you have a corrupted FDT within a FIT image, then the error handling is not correct and you will fail to 'hang()'. To allow an error handling within scripts, the return value of the calling function 'fit_image_load()' has to be checked for negative values. On error (return value < 0), we have to exit the function. This error seems to also exists in the newest u-boot release.
Please check and fix, if not already done in current versions of u-boot.
