When I started with the MAKEALL script my idea was to have (at least) all "typical" configurations represented to cover as many as possible of the feature set. By now the number of features and possible combinations of these have reached a complexity that we eventually should build just all targets: 10 or 20 more or less - who cares? > certainly needed to be in here. One of the ideas I have in mind with my Makefile rework is to make board configurations completely table driven, with one line entry per board configuration. The MAKEALL script would then pick the relevant boards from this database - all of them (that match certain selection criteria, like CPU type, or more, if possible).
