Both USB CDC and RNDIS are in mainstream U-boot. What is lacking is a proper UDC driver for the beagle board. You can find a board example in the cdc-at91 branch of the u-boot-usb git tree. Patches for adding a UDC driver for the Beagle board are welcome.
