Capsule update on Qualcomm boards currently handles exactly one image: U-Boot itself, located by find_target_partition() and hardcoded as the sole fw_images[] entry. There's no way to update xbl, tz, hyp, aop, devcfg, qupfw, or any other firmware component through a capsule.
This series provides a way to support capsule update for multiple partitions (not just U-Boot) in Qualcomm boards.
