For the MediaTek Genio boards that we are working on, we want to be able
to use a boot splash logo. There are two cases that were not covered by
the existing splash source support. Loading the splash image from UFS
and loading the splash image from an offset in a raw partition.

While here, we noticed that the documentation was out of date, so there
are a few patches updating that first and then adding the two features
that we need.
