That part I had done, and it was smooth -- if I had not uninstalled UniVerse
I wouldn't have even had a problem! I'll have to submit this to IBM - maybe
the uninstall could be 'smartened' up - although this would hopefully be a
RARE event ...

I have both Unidata and Universe (the PE versions) running on the same Win
box. The trick was to use UniAdmin to change the port#s on Universe to
something other than the standard. This way the two sets of services can
coexist peacefully.

OK - having a problem here... I loaded and am running UniData.

Later, I loaded UniVerse on the same box. All working great...
HOWEVER, I decided I needed to mave UniVerse to a different directory (and
am now sorry I did so!!) so I uninstalled UniVerse.

Reinstalled UniVerse.

Now, UniData cannot be accessed via UniAdmin as it complains there is no RPC
Connectino for it... It appears the UniVerse UnInstall nuked the UniData
RPC. UniVerse is fine...

Is just a simple reinstall of UniData in order? Are there any other
'beware' issues (except for uninstall which I promise never to do
again...)
