In case any one is wondering what happened to the originator of this thread
- I can only handle the digest version of this list these days and I was
amazed when I got to read Volumes #29, #30 and #31 to see what response I
had created.

UV certainly seems to stand out from the crowd in assuming numeric testing
as a priority so I will have to remember to use COMPARE() when ever it seems
appropriate (even if it is one of those negative type answers - IF
NOT(COMPARE('x','x')) THEN these are the same - this reads to me that if
they don't compare then they must be the same ?:).
Conversion from one MV system to another is obviously an issue which UV
could possibly put some thought into if they want people to convert to UV
without problems.
