IT Project Manager with strong business
background
* Able to identify and define required operational management
processes such as Change Management, Configuration Management,
Incident Management, Problem Management and software control and
distribution.
* Should have exposure to managing support of existing In-House and
Vendor based applications Experience with Mail Order/Direct
Response as well as possessing a Marketing preferred but not
required. Must be able to support Security planning, assessment,
policy and design. high availability solutions and Capacity Planning.
* Manages the information technology department in accordance with
organizational policies and goals. Ensures proper functioning of
company's information processing system, liability, security,
availability and upgrades as necessary. Will update and inform the
company with the latest technology with the consideration of TCO
(Total Cost of Ownership) and helps business operations utilize
information systems to improve efficiency.
* Infrastructure Exposure: Windows 2000 Server & Networking
technology, Microsoft IIS Web Server, Sun Solaris UNIX systems,
FTP Servers, Firewalls, Routers etc. SQL Server , IBM 3270 RJE and
Terminal Emulation Software support. running Host Based IBM 3270,
Client/Server and Web N Tier Architecture(s) applications.
* Keeps computer equipment, hardware, and software updated and
documented to meet organizational needs in coordination with
network administrator. Follows appropriate programming procedures.
Will be familiar with a variety of the field's concepts,
practices, and procedures. In an educated as well as experienced
level, should posses the skills such as Networking
(LAN/WAN/Terminal), Relational Database, Security, Hardware,
Software, internet, E-commerce, communication, Team work, and
management. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan
and accomplish goals.
* Responsible for overall IT costs.
* Must be able to align business process and organizational goals.
Must prepare training materials, reports, documentation and
presentations for management and users.
* May lead and direct the work of others such as network admin,
database administrator, technical writer and web
designer/developer. Responsible for Disaster Recovery planning and
testing. Responsible for Vendor Management and coordination of all
Vendor Supported applications.
* Responsible for tracking all support related activity and
vendor/in-house developed application software and hardware
upgrades. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Typically reports to top management.
The candidate requires a bachelor's degree, high and current
industry certifications (at least two) and at least 5 years of
experience in the field or in a related area. Performs a variety
of tasks.
