BOB was not a file or account. BOB was a test verb to display the time. I visited the client and informed the admin of the situation and he's looking into testing the concept.
The answer was that the MD pointed to another account and M/DICT pointed to itself. The direct EDITing into MD actually put it in the other account's MD. Apparently the English (MVQuery) processor finds the file in the M/DICT and not the MD. If they're the same then there's no difference. If they aren't you get these results. I'll post the results when the admin puts both to the account they're on. Thanks. P.S. UD & UV have synonyms between MD and VOC to accomodate people like me who straddle both the U2 & D3 fences. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ron White" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Friday, May 07, 2004 9:45 AM Subject: Re: [U2] D3 Master Dictionary > MD = VOC > > If I type LIST VOC = "CUST" in UV 10.1 and LIST MD = "CUST" > in D3 7.2 I get the exact same output which is the name and type of > the file.
