We were giving the following by IBM for UV 10.0.19

od -xc T30/DATA.30 | more
will yield 0000000 020c acef for a 64 bit file, and
010c for the 32 bit file.  The important part is the
02 versus the 01.

T30 is the name of the file, we tend to cd into the file directory and then issue the 
command, in which case you do not note T30/
