As you may have discovered by now, COPYI already exists and there is also a COPYP for those that prefer Pick style copies. In fact the Pick style copy (COPYP) has one very useful feature I haven't been able to reproduce using the COPYI verb namely the ability to list a program (or whatever) without the line numbers.
