Hi Tom, I just ran the same command on my Redhat box and got; [EMAIL PROTECTED] user]$ who -Hu NAME LINE TIME IDLE PID COMMENT user pts/0 May 21 09:58 . 6314 (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) This seems to match exactly what you are after. The comment was an IP address for me We are running Linux 2.4.21-9.EL GNU/Linux. (I'm no guru either!)
