I was wondering whether someone could provide with some guidance on a question
concerning ActiveX controls and HTML pages:

I've created a simple WEB page that allows me to open a connection to UniData,
display user variables based on a successful connection, then closes the
connection.

When I attempt to establish the connection to UniData via a click on a connect
button, I encounter the following message:

An ActiveX control on this page might be unsafe to interact with other parts
of the page. Do you want to allow this interaction?

I would click 'Yes' and a persistant connection is establiched since I've
installed and configured UniObjects on the client machine. From this point, I
can access all of the standard UniObject methods and properties with no
further messages.

I believe that the message appears due to security settings within IE. Is
there a way that I can suppress the display of the message without having to
subscribe to some sort of digital signature? Can I create my own ActiveX
control that essentially wraps the functionality of the UniObjects control? Is
there a security setting within IE that allows me to run ActiveX controls on a
computer that I've manually installed the ActiveX control on?

Thanks in advance, Ian Renfrew
