I've never understood shared memory full stop - I only know what to increase
in the event of 'no more lcts'.

I asked support since you weren't sure, and it turns out that this is a
problem with basicytpe 'P' only which would be difficult for IBM to fix
rather than udtconfig setting.

It's mighty strange to be using such large arrays in common anyway, and I
can use 'U' for this specific bit of s/w.
